I love this pic of mom, Bruce, Kendall and Kylie all dressed up as the characters from the Wizard of Oz on Halloween. It’s crazy to think this was taken almost 10 years ago now. My mom absolutely loves Halloween and so it’s always been a tradition in our family to dress up and make the most of the holiday. As kids we were always so excited to dress up and I have some amazing memories from our family Halloween parties.
This year will be Mason’s first Halloween and he’s already loving his spider costume. I’m looking forward to making many more family Halloween memories.
"For American children and parents, Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF offers an impactful way to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children." — Selena UNICEF Ambassador Selena Gomez is back as the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF National Spokesperson for the third year in a row! Selena believes that everyone can make a difference and wants young people to make Halloween count this year by Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF to help children around the world.
Selena was appointed a UNICEF Ambassador in September 2009, becoming the youngest UNICEF Ambassador in the United States. On her first official field mission for UNICEF, Selena traveled to Ghana in West Africa where she witnessed the work UNICEF is doing to help get kids the things they need to survive and thrive—like clean water, food, education and medicine.
Since becoming a UNICEF Ambassador, Selena has also lent her support to other UNICEF initiatives including the Tap Project, the UNICEF Snowflake Ball, and the ELIMINATE Project. In the wake of the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Selena was quick to take action by filming an emergency PSA, encouraging friends, family and fans to join with UNICEF to help save and protect the children of Haiti. She also participated in the MTV 'Hope for Haiti' telethon, which helped raise $65 million that was distributed between five organizations in addition to UNICEF for ongoing emergency relief efforts.
Although Selena has had a busy and successful year—she made her feature film debut in Ramona & Beezus this summer, is working on her second album, A Year Without Rain, and continues her starring role in Disney Channel's hit series Wizards of Waverly Place—Selena remains dedicated and enthusiastic about her commitment as a UNICEF Ambassador and proves that no matter what your age, you can make a difference.
Join Selena today and make a difference for the world's children!
Costumed and committed, they took to the streets in neighborhoods all across the nation and they spread word of their mission. They were kids helping kids by Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF. Through the small change they raised door-to-door, they were going to make a big difference for children everywhere, helping UNICEF to provide nutrition, medicine, education and the things kids need to thrive.
Glee Rocky Horror Picture Show Episode - 'Glee' fans have got to love this. In another of the biggest October specials of 2010, the girls and boys will be transforming themselves into our favorite cross dresser from another planet, Riff Raff, Rocky Horror, and Brad and Janet for an episode set to air around Halloween. No word on who will be playing which characters yet, something that will probably stay a secret as long as possible. But the cast and creators better beware: there are a lot of hardcore Rocky Horror fans out there, and fumbling with one of the most anticipated Halloween specials of 2010 might turn into a real horror show.
Miranda Cosgrove gets into the Halloween spirit, dressing up like a butterfly in this new still from iCarly.
In the upcoming episode “iScream on Halloween,” Carly (Cosgrove), Sam (Jennette McCurdy), and Freddie (Nathan Kress) do iCarly from an apartment that is rumored to be haunted.
When creepy things start happening, the friends worry that the ghost rumors just might be true. When Spencer forgets to buy candy, he’s got a bunch of angry trick-or-treaters on his hands.
Kay Panabaker gasps at the sight of a green monster as she visits Knott’s Scary Farm’s Halloween Haunt over the weekend.
